  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. LAGOS DIRECTORATE OF CITIZENS RIGHTS GETS NEW DIRECTOR

… Tasks Counsel on Optimal Service Delivery

Ms. Adetutu Oshinusi has been appointed as the new Director, Directorate of Citizens Rights (DCR), Lagos State Ministry of Justice following the deployment of her predecessor.

Speaking at her maiden meeting with all members of staff of the Office, Oshinusi tasked the workers on the need for improved productivity and optimum service delivery to the citizenry

She emphasised that it is high time all the Counsel in the Directorate up the ante in a bid to boost the State's Human Rights record, saying, "It is important to show absolute dedication and commitment to your official duties in order to improve on the State’s Human Rights record".

The new Director also urged the staff to extend her the maximum cooperation given to her predecessor in order to achieve the set goals and objectives of the Directorate.

Ms. Adetutu Oshinusi, who was a Director in the Department of Public Prosecution until her deployment, was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1991 and has wealth of experience practising law in both the Private and Public Sectors.
