 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov. Ododo emphasized that it is within his powers as the Chief Security Officer of the state under Section 14 subsection 2(b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). NIGERIAN ARMY WOMEN'S CORPS TAKES IT SENSITISATION VISIT TO 1 DIVISION AND NIGERIAN DEFENCE ACADEMY KADUNA

In an effort to deepen the understanding and appreciate the efforts of the female troops, their command responsibilities and contributions to national security, the Nigerian Army Women’s Corps (NAWC) embarked on a sensitization visit to 1 Division Nigerian Army and Nigerian Defence Academy in Kaduna.

Delivering the lecture on behalf of the Commander NAWC Colonel DE Adamu, the Chief of Staff NAWC Colonel BS Omoge briefed the female participants on the History of the Corps, Roles and Responsibilities, Deployment of NAWC Personnel as well as the Leadership Opportunities. She then rounded up by emphasizing the need for female soldiers to be confident, discipline and professional in the discharge of their constitutional duties. This is aimed at achieving the mission of the Corps which is “To Administer and Train Professional Female Personnel to Support the NA Operational Engagements Within a Joint Environment in the Defence of Nigeria”.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
