 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. Alleged N6.32bn Fraud: EFCC Presents Two More Witnesses Against Ex-Plateau Gov. Jang
 
The corruption trial of a former Plateau State governor, Senator David Jonah Jang before Justice Christy Dabup of Plateau State High Court, Jos resumed today, Tuesday, February 8, 2022, with the prosecution presenting two more witnesses: Boyi Kakai Sanka (PW6), and Mary Anthony Bawa (PW7)
The EFCC is prosecuting Jang alongside Yusuf Pam, a former cashier in the Office of the Secretary to the State Government (OSSG), for alleged criminal breach of trust and misappropriation of Plateau State funds to the tune of N6.32 billion.
Led in evidence by prosecution counsel, Rotimi Jacobs, SAN, Sanka, a former Accountant General of Plateau State from 25th August, 2011 to 1st June, 2015, told the court that his schedule of duties included maintaining custody of all funds accruing to the state, payment, disbursements and remittances as the case may, on the approval of the governor.  
The former Accountant General explained how disbursement of funds were made in Plateau State.
