 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion. GOV. UZODIMMA EXTOLS THE IMO POLICE ANTI KIDNAPPING SQUAD COMMAND



His Excellency, Distinguished Senator Hope Uzodimma has extolled the Imo State Anti Kidnapping Squad Command based on its contributions to the enforcement of peace and security in the State.

The commendation came as Governor Uzodimma visited the Imo State Police Command's Anti Kidnapping Squad. The Governor thanked them for dismantling camps of 'unknown gunmen' recovering caches of illegal fire arms used to create unrest and kill innocent citizens of the State.

The Governor assured the galant men and women of the force of his unalloyed support in the war against crime and in the maintenance of peace and stability in the State.

Governor Uzodimma used the opportunity to call on Ndi Imo to be part of the fight against crime and criminality in the State by volunteering information on suspects or suspicious activities to the security agencies, as it is the business of all stakeholders working with Government to stamp out crime and criminality in Imo State.

“Shared Prosperity requires shared responsibility” Uzodimma stated.
