 INDEPENDENT CORRUPT PRACTICES AND OTHER RELATED OFFENCES COMMISSION (ICPC) Tuesday 16th December, 2025 MEDIA RELEASE The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) writes to confirm that it received a formal petition today Tuesday 16th December, 2025 from Alhaji Aliko Dangote through his lawyer. One Dead As Car Rams Into Parked Dump Truck In Awka



It was a tragic evening in Awka, around the Dr Godwin Maduka Foundation axis of new Enugu-Onitsha Expressway, after a Toyota Camry Spider rammed into a dump truck parked beside the expressway, leaving one person dead.

According to bystanders and eyewitnesses, the Toyota Camry driver had lost speed, then ran over a man as it made its way to the parked dump truck.

The victim, a man in his late thirties, simply identified as Ebuka, was said to had alighted from a commercial bus, minutes before the tragedy.

The victim, who was smashed into the drainage on the side of the road died instantly, while the driver of the Toyota Camry who was said to be in critical condition, was rushed to Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University Teaching Hospital, Amaku, Awka, same as the body of the deceased.

Men of the Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, alongside other persons were around to help.
