 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. Additional 301 evacuees arrive Abuja 



It was a scene of mixed feelings as another batch of 301 Evacuees mostly students from Sumy State University Budapest, Hungary arrived Abuja yesterday 

The 301 Nigerians from Budapest Hungary arrived the country aboard Asman Air.

The aircraft arrived at exactly 8.45pm and 
Ambassador Bolaji Akinremi was on hand to receive them on behalf of the Federal Government.

A mother was seen, shedding tears of joy as 4 of her children were amongst the evacuees. 

A medical student of the Sumy State University, Deborah Ayoola is happy to arrived in peace as she had been very scared but thanked God she was able to pass through.
