Lagos police launch investigation as jeweller  accuses its officers of harassment The Lagos State Police Command said it has commenced an investigation into a viral video of a jeweller accusing some policemen in the Festac area of the state of harassing him.  The command disclosed this in an X post on Saturday. The video, which circulated on X on Saturday morning, shows the businessman engaged in a struggle with some policemen. Later in the video, the businessman could be seen with a bloody face after allegedly sustaining a cut beside his right eye during the struggle with the police officers,  The jeweller later explained that the policemen from the Festac Division had stopped him for a routine search. PDP Shifts Anambra State Congress to March 12

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has approved the postponement of the Anambra State Congress to elect the State Executive officers of Our Party in the State from the earlier scheduled date of Saturday, March 5, 2022 to a new date of Saturday, March 12, 2022.

All aspirants, critical stakeholders, leaders and members of our party in Anambra State should please take note.

The PDP regrets any inconveniences caused by this change of date
