 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. SOLUDO AKWETE REVOLUTION GAINS MOMENTUM AS PDP GOVERNORS ADORN THE LOCALLY MADE FABRIC IN THEIR MEETING IN ABIA STATE

The revolution of patronising our locally made fabrics and products which Prof Chukwuma Charles Soludo, Governor of Anambra State spearheaded has started yielding dividends 

In their on-going PDP Governors' meeting in Abia State, all the Governors who were at the meeting were seen all cladded in the locally-woven Akwaete. 

All the Governors were looking splendid as they step out from their meeting wearing neatly woven Akwaete clothes 

Governor Soludo has been largely credited with the promotion and marketing of the Akwaete fabrics. In his recent interview with Arise TV, Soludo asserted that his promotion of the local fabric has shot up the demand for it. 

This assertion has been proved right with the PDP Governors who stepped out fully cladded in the locally made fabric today

The 13 Governor’s of the PDP are H.E Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, H.E Godwin Obaseki, H.E Ifeanyi Okowa, H.E Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, H.E Nyesom Wike, H.E Samuel Ortom, H.E Seyi Makinde, H.E Okezie Victor Ikpeazu.
