 LAGOS LAW REFORM COMMISSION ENGAGES TOURISM, AGRICULTURE MINISTRIES ON SECTORAL LAW REFORMS The Lagos State Law Reform Commission recently held consultative engagements with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture and the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Systems as part of ongoing efforts to review, modernise and harmonise sectoral laws for improved governance, institutional efficiency and sustainable development in Lagos State. The engagement with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture was initiated and led by the Executive Secretary of the Commission, Mrs. Oluyemisi Ogunlola.  The delegation was received by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Princess Adebopo Oyekan-Ismaila, alongside relevant departmental and agency representatives. Boko Haram attacks military base in Kaduna, kill 11 soldiers, injure 19

Boko Haram terrorists have attacked a military base in Polewire area of Birnin Gwari, Kaduna State, killing 11 soldiers and injuring 19 others.

Three members of a local vigilante group also lost their lives, while two others suffered injuries during the attack.

DAILY NIGERIAN gathered that during the 3 and half-hour battle, which started at 4:30pm and ended 8pm, three Armoured Personnel Carriers, APC were burnt to ashes after dislodging troops from the location.

Security sources said the location is the major movement route of the terrorists crossing from Niger to Zamfara.

In a situation report sighted by our reporter, the military equipment lost or destroyed include 1 Legion MRAP; 1 Cobra APC; 1 Styer APC; DSHK machine gun; 2 HK 21 guns; 1 GPMG; 14 AK47 rifles; 3 pump action guns; 10 motorcycles, among others.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
