 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. EFCC Arraigns Radio Staff for False Information

The Ilorin Zonal Command of the EFCC, on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, arraigned one Babalola Funmilayo Florence, a former staff of a popular radio station in Kwara State on a two-count charge before Justice Muhammed Sani of the Federal High Court sitting in Ilorin for giving false information to the Commission.
Babalola, 51, allegedly in her statement to the Commission, falsely denied ownership of a White Lexus 350 SUV linked to her, while the car documents as well as her chats with the car seller proved the contrary.
Florence, between 30th March, 2021 and 16th July, 2021 at No 1, Catchment Close, Off Forest Road, GRA, Ilorin, Kwara State, made to Ayoku Ganiyat, an Officer of the EFCC in the course of the exercise of the duties of her office, statements which she knew is false, by denying knowledge of her name on the car documents of a White Lexus 350 Jeep with Reg. No. FST741GH, thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 39 (2) (a) of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (Establishment) Act 2004 and punishable under section 39 (2) (b) of the same Act.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
