 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. GOVERNOR BUNI ASSENTED 3 BILLS INTO LAW

 His Excellency the Executive Governor of Yobe State Hon. Mai Mala Buni has assented to the following Bills for the speady administration of justice, address the problem of violence against persons and the protection of children. The assented laws are:.  

 1. A bill for a law to establish the Yobe State Justice Reform Team to coordinate the various Justice Institutions and other matters thereto.    

  2. A bill for a law to prohibit all forms of violence against persons in private and public life and to provide maximum protection and effective Remedies for victims and punishment of offenders and other related matters.  
  
3. A bill for a law to provide for the protection of children in Yobe State and other related matters thereto.
