 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. PDP Sets Up Osun State Caretaker Committee

The National Working Committee (NWC) of our great Party has approved the composition of a Caretaker Committee to run the affairs of the Osun State Chapter of our Party.

This follows the expiration of the tenure of the State Executive Committee of Osun State Chapter.

The Osun Caretaker Committee is to manage the affairs of the Party in Osun State from Friday, April 8, 2022 for a period not exceeding 90 days (3 months) or till such a time a new State Executive Committee will be elected in the State.

The members of the Osun State Caretaker Committee are as follows:

1. Dr. Adekunle Akindele = Chairman
2. Otunba Femi Carena = Secretary
3. Barr. Niyi Owolade = Member
4. Chief Mrs. Ayo Awolowo = Member
5. Dr. B.T. Salami = Member
6. Engr. Adetoye Ogunboyega = Member
