  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Nigeria Is Broke, Nothing To Share - Rotimi Amaechi 

Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi has stated that the elite are the problem of Nigeria.

He advised citizens to vote the right people into leadership positions to fix the country’s challenges.

Amaechi gave the counsel on Tuesday at the 2022 World Press Freedom Day celebrations in Uyo, the Akwa Ibom State capital.

The former Rivers Governor also urged Nigerians to always hold politicians accountable.

“The problem of the country is not the poor man in Akwa Ibom or Rivers, in the South East or in the North. It is you and I, the elite,” he said.

NAN reports that Amaechi also dropped his take on the controversial issue of restructuring.

“Why you are hearing restructuring, it is because the elites’ consensus on sharing (the resources) is disappearing.

“It is because there is nothing to share again, we are broke. The problem facing this country is caused by the elites, including you”, he said.
