 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. EFCC Arraigns Suspect for Alleged Visa Scam

The Benin Zonal Command of the EFCC today, May 23, 2022 arraigned one Raphael Otobo on a three count charge of intent to defraud before Justice (Professor) C. A. Obiozor of the Federal High Court sitting in Benin City, Edo State.

Otobo is alleged to have defrauded one Kenneth Asuma Osaghe of the aggregate sum of One Million Naira under the false pretense of helping him secure a Canadian visa.
