 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. Teachers' recruitment: Anambra disqualifies multiple applicants

Awka, June 10, 2022 (MOI) The Anambra State Government has disqualified applicants whose names appeared multiple times in the ongoing teachers' recruitment. 

The announcement was made on the website of the State's Ministry of Information, designed for the recruitment exercise. 

It reads, ``This is to inform the public that all applicants for the ongoing teachers' recruitment exercise with multiple entries have been disqualified in line with the earlier warning. Yet to be discovered multiple applicants will also be disqualified when discovered. 

``A list with the new identification numbers of eligible candidates for the examination, coming up on Saturday, 11th June 2022 at various CBT Centres, has been uploaded on our website."

Applicants are therefore by the message advised to visit only the state authorized website of: www.anambraministryofeducation.com/recruitment to check for their names, identification numbers, their centres/batches and other necessary information. (MOI)
