 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. APPOINTMENT OF SUBSTANTIVE HEAD OF FINANCE AND ACCOUNTS IN FMC KEFFI.


This is to bring to the notice of all staff and the general public that, the 5th Governing Board  of the Centre, has approved the appointment of  Mrs,  Nalon Blessing Okonofua, a Deputy Director, Finance/Accounts, as the substantive Head of Department of Finance/Accounts, Federal Medical Centre, Keffi, Nasarawa State.

This follows the recommendation of  Board's Standing Committee on Appointments, Promotion and Discipline (APD), regarding the expiration of the appointment of Dr. Samson Adewale Adegoke, as the Head of the Department, that the most senior officer should take over.

According to the letter conveying the appointment and signed by the Secretary to the Board/Head of Administration, Mohammed Habib Nagogo, the Board directs Mrs. Nalon Okonofua, to immediately take over the affairs of the department, including the access right to the finances of the hospital in the office of the Accountant General of the Federation.

The appointment dated July 6th, 2022, takes immediate effect.
