Hon Musa James Akpomoshi
53-year-old Vice Chairman of Kokona Local Government Council, Hon. Musa James Akpomoshi has cried that he has been put in limbo by his principal.
He made this known in a now-viral post on Facebook on Sunday, alleging that the Chairman, Hon. Awalu Adamu has relegated him to the background in the running of Council’s affairs.
This, Akpomoshi explained has forced him to “abandoned the office and take his farming seriously”.
He lamented that the administration is almost a year in office, yet nothing tangible to show as achievement.
“All efforts made to improve the administrative aspect of the Council proved abortive”, he added.
As next year’s general elections approaches, the Vice Chairman enjoined voters to vote credible candidates who when in office will help them.
“Vote wisely and good candidates who will help you after the election. Vote candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC),” he advised.
Reacting however, the Chairman’s media aide, Ephraim Jatau in a statement on Monday urged the general public to disregard the allegations as it has no iota of truth.
Jatau absolved the Chairman wrongdoing and assured residents of the area of more dividends of democracy.
“Our attention has been drawn to a publication on social media made by Hon. Akpomoshi James Musa, the Deputy Chairman, Kokona Local Government Council that he abandoned his office and take his farming seriously because his principal, the Executive Chairman, Kokona Local Government Council Hon. Awalu Adamu has not involved him (Hon. Akpomoshi James Musa) in the affairs or administration of the Council.
“I wouldn’t join issues with the Deputy Chairman, Hon. Akpomoshi James Musa on the purported allegations on his principal, the Executive Chairman, Hon. Awalu Adamu.
“However it may interest you and the general public to know that;

“Hon. “The Deputy Chairman, may have moral questions to answer weather or not he is performing his official functions in the Council.

“On the said F&GPC and Security Council meeting at the Local Government Council, the Deputy Chairman Hon. Akpomoshi James Musa should have known that he is not a member of the said meetings and as such know that his principal is living to expectations.
