 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. *PRESS RELEASE:* _Ekiti State Police Command arrests fifteen (15) suspected armed robbers, drugs dealers and cultists, recovers arms, others._ 

 As part of the ongoing effort of the Command to rid the State of criminal elements particularly Atikankan area of Ado-Ekiti, the operatives of the Command, on 13/07/2022, clamped down on a group of hoodlums in their criminal hideout at Atikankan, Ado-Ekiti.

2. During the operation carried out by the operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS), fifteen suspected drug dealers, armed robbers and cultists were arrested. They are: Musa Madaki '35yrs', Abdullahi Umar '25yrs', Shola Adeyemi '43yrs', Hawalu Ali '45yrs', Usman Amisu '30yrs', Haruna Usman '20yrs', Yanusa Abubakar '25yrs', Usman Lawali '20yrs', Ajayi Opeyemi '20yrs', Toheeb Isa '21yrs', Ajiboye Michael '19yrs', Kayode Yinka '20yrs', Taiwo Michael '20yrs', Jimoh Zarheal '19yrs' and David Henry '36yrs'.

3. Items recovered from the suspects are:
√ Two(2) locally made single barrel guns
√ Two(2) battle axes 
√ Two (2) locally made pistols
√ Some wraps of weeds suspected to be Indian hemp

4. The suspects confessed to be members of armed robbery gang, illicit drug dealers and cultists.

5. The suspects shall be arraigned accordingly as soon as investigation is concluded.
