 Prince William and Kate Middleton bring George, Charlotte and Louis to Commonwealth Games for first Scotland public outing Prince William and Kate Middleton brought their three children to the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, marking the siblings’ first official public appearance in Scotland. The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 44, attended the sporting event on Saturday, Aug. 1, during their summer break with Prince George, 13, Princess Charlotte, 11, and Prince Louis, 8. While in Scotland, where William and Kate are known as the Duke and Duchess of Rothesay, the family spent time with Team Wales athletes and their families. The couple also visited SportsAid, an organisation that supports young athletes. Kate has served as patron of the organisation since 2013. The Commonwealth Games, held every four years, brings together athletes from across the Commonwealth of Nations.  Kaduna Community Pays Bandits N400m To Stop Attacks

A community leader from the Birnin Gwari Emirate Council in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State, Alhaji Zubairu Abdulra’uf, has lamented how members of the communities paid N400m to bandits to enable them to go to their farms.

This is just as he said the people of the emirate had resorted to defending themselves against terrorists that had over the years taken over the area.

He told journalists in Kaduna on Thursday that the constant attacks on communities had paralyzed economic activities in their rural areas and made travelling in the area impossible.

According to Abdulra’uf, N200m was paid to bandits in Randegi district alone.
