 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. MINISTER OF INTERIOR VISITS LAGOS STATE COMMAND.


The Honourable Minister, of the Ministry of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, today, Wednesday, 13th July, 2022, at about 15:27hrs visited the Lagos State Command Headquarters, of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps ( NSCDC ), situated at Alausa, Ikeja, in Lagos State.

The Honourable Minister of Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Adesoji Aregbesola, was also warmly welcomed by the Commandant, NSCDC, Lagos State Command, Commandant Eweka Edenabu Okoro and the Management Staff of the command.

The Minister evidently, during the historic and epoch - making visit adequately inspected the state of the Command, along with the Commandant and his Management Staff, before his departure from the Command's Headquarters.
