 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢, 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬, 𝐀𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐞, 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟔𝟐 𝐅𝐂𝐓 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has revoked the lands allocated to several prominent Nigerians, including former President Muhammadu Buhari, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, due to non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy fees. Also, 759 other prominent figures and organisations in Maitama II, Abuja. were also affected by the revocation which was for non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy.  RUMORED PLANNED ATTACK ON LAGOS STATE CP ALABI ASSURES LAGOSIANS OF ADEQUATE SECURITY

The Lagos State Police Command is not unmindful of

intelligence reports suggesting that Lagos State could be
on the radar of some persons planning attacks across the

country.

To this end, the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State

Command, CP Abiodun Alabi, fdc has placed the State
Intelligence Bureau (SIB) of the Command on high alert

alongside all rea Commanders, Divisional Police Officers
and Tactical Commanders, all in a bid to ensure that any
possible planned attack is promptly and decisively nipped

in the bud.

The Command is also working closely with sister security
agencies to ensure that no person or group of persons
succeed in destabilizing the peace and serenity enjoyed
by the good people of Lagos State.

CP Alabi uses this medium to allay the fears of Lagosians

and assure them that all human, material and operational
resources have been fully and optimally deployed across

the length and breadth of the state, especially at border
towns, towards ensuring there is absolutely no breach of

peace

Consequet upon the carefully laid down security plans/
strategies, all residents of Lagos State are urged to go
about their lawtul duties without panic or fear. Lagosians
are equally enjoined to remain very vigilant and report

SUspicious movements and persons to security agencies.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
