 IGP DISU PAYS OPERATIONAL VISIT TO  AKWA IBOM, PRESIDES OVER PASSING-OUT CEREMONY OF 1,068 RETRAINED CONSTABLES The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, psc(+), NPM, today, 30th April 2026, undertook an official visit to Akwa Ibom State, where he paid a courtesy call on the Executive Governor, His Excellency, Pastor Umo Eno, ahead of the passing-out ceremony of retrained Police Constables in Uyo. #EndSARS Protest 2020 Will Not Have Any Effect On Presidential Election - Keyamo 

Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo (SAN) is confident that the #EndSARS protest of October 2020 will not have any effect on the 2023 presidential election.

Speaking with DAILY INDEPENDENT, Keyamo who is the official spokesperson of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council fie the 2023 presidential election said it is not all Nigerian youths who participated in the EndSARS protest.

According to him, while some youths in Lagos are protesting, calling for the scrapping of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), some other youths especially in the Northern part of the country also held rallies asking for SARS to stay.

He said "It is not all the youths that we had at the EndSARSprotest, it is only a section of the youths. Some youths also opposed them too".

" Can't you remember some youths opposed them? So, it is plus minus. Infact, some youths in the North they marched that they want SARS. Have you forgotten?"

"So when you talk of youths, youths does not end in Lagos. You people should always get out of Lagos. Nigeria is not Lagos" he said

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
