 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00. "I attended the Year 2022 Children and Youth Harvest Thanksgiving service of the Diocese of Lagos (Anglican Communion) Our Saviour's Church earlier today.

I used the opportunity to admonish young people to take charge of the future from today because they are the future of our country and the African continent.

Young people must actively participate in different activities that are geared toward nation building because leadership is not only achieved when people are elected as governors or president.

The Church provides a great foundation for life of service and it is important our youth take up responsibilities by serving and learning vital lessons therein."-Gov. Sanwo-Olu.
