 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. SOLUDO CONGRATULATES SENATOR CHRIS NGIGE AT 70


Governor of Anambra State, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR has congratulated the Minister for Labour and Employment, Senator (Dr.) Chris Nwabueze Ngige, as he clocks seventy years (70) on planet earth.

Governor Soludo in a birthday message commended Dr. Chris Ngige, describing him as an accomplished politician, an erstwhile Governor of Anambra State, Senator and now Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. 

These are commendable achievements as an illustrious son of the State.

Therefore, on this auspicious occasion of your 70th birthday, on behalf of my family, the government and people of Anambra State, I heartily congratulate you and wish you many more years of service to your fatherland
