 Anambra to go after houses without proper drainage in order to combat Erosion  Worried by the rising menace of gully erosion, the Anambra State Government has threatened to enforce regulations requiring residents to provide proper drainage for storm water from their homes. The State Executive Council (ANSEC), which announced the proposed enforcement, lamented that erosion remains an existential challenge in Anambra, blaming the situation on careless actions by some communities and lapses by regulatory bodies in enforcing environmental laws. Briefing journalists after the weekly executive council meeting, the Commissioner for Information, Dr. Law Mefor, said it had been observed that some residents channel storm water from their homes directly onto roads, where it accumulates and worsens the erosion crisis across the state. “ANSEC has resolved to step up enforcement to compel residents to properly channel and manage storm water from their houses. Ifeanyi Ubah Felicitates With Chicason Boss As He Gives Out Daughter In Marriage 

The Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District, Senator Dr. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Saturday, joined families and friends of the Chief Executive Officer of CHICASON Group of Companies, Dr. Chika Okafor to celebrate his daughter Mmesoma as she begins her journey in marriage. 

Speaking briefly at the epic event which took place at the Monarch Event Centre Lekki, Lagos State, Senator Ubah congratulated the new couple and prayed God to grant them wisdom, guidance and protection as they are joined together as husband and wife.

Senator Ubah who was accompanied to the event by some of his friends thanked God for HIS blessings upon the Okafor family and urged the new couple to always put God first in all their endeavors.

Also present at the event were the Governor of Lagos State, Governor Sanwolu , former Governor of Imo State Rt. Hon Emeka Ihedioha , Chairman Ekulo Group, Chief Emma Bishop.Okonkwo , Senator Obinna Ogba , Chief Gabriel Chukwuma, CMD NAUTH, Dr Joseph Ugboaja, Chief Ifeanyi Ekwulugo, Hon Chris Azubogu, Hon Augustine Ikedoji , Mr Anayo Nwosu, Chief Pharm Sam Ubachukwu, Chief Bozac, Chief Joe Obijiaku, Chief Goddy Muoghalu, Crown Prince Barr. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
