 Gov. Ododo’s Executive Proclamation Not State of Emergency  Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo  has clarified that his recent Executive Proclamation on security protocols in the state is not a declaration of a state of emergency but a set of necessary measures to enhance the security architecture to crackdown on criminals in all parts of the state.  This was contained in a statement by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, explaining that the proclamation is a lawful constitutional measure aimed at strengthening security coordination and protecting lives and property across Kogi State.  Gov. Ododo emphasized that it is within his powers as the Chief Security Officer of the state under Section 14 subsection 2(b) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended). IGP Usman Charges Newly Decorated Officers On Professionalism.



The Inspector General of Police, IGP Alkali Baba Usman has decorated thirty-nine police officer recently promoted from Deputy Superintendents of Police to Superintendents of Police serving in the Anambra State Command of the force.

The decoration which took place at Anambra State Police Command Headquarters in Awka, attracted friends and well-wishers of the promoted officers.

In his remarks, IGP Usman charged the newly decorated officers to discharge their duties delegently by  serving the people excellently.

The IGP, represented by Anambra State Commissioner of Police, Mr Echeng Echeng noted that the officers were found worthy of the promotion by the President and Commander in Chief of the Nigerian Armed Forces, and the Police Service Commission after going through their details thoroughly.

In a vote of thanks, one of the decorated officers and DOC, Awada Police Division, Mr Emmanuel Ogwu, whose joy knew no bounds, while thanking God for the houour, assured their readiness to make Nigeria Police proud.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
