 Catholic priest reportedly klled in Kogi  A Catholic priest, Rev. Fr. Samuel Opeyemi Oyetoro, has been reportedly killed by unknown assailants in Ajaokuta, Kogi State. According to reports, the priest was stabbed multiple times along Ajaokuta road on Wednesday, 29th July 2026. His body was found dumped at the roadside.  Rev. Fr. Oyetoro was born in Egbe, Yagba West Local Government Area of Kogi State and a native of Ayetoro in Ijumu Local Government Area.  Until his death, he served as a priest at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Egbe. EFCC Arrests 22 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Uyo

Operatives of the Uyo Zonal Command of the EFCC have arrested 22 suspected internet fraudsters within Akwa Ibom State.

They were arrested in a sting operation on Tuesday, September 13, 2022.

The all-male suspects, whose ages range between 18 to 24 years, were arrested at their various hideouts in Uyo and Ikot Ekpene areas of the State, following verified intelligence regarding their nefarious activities.

Items recovered from the suspects include, a silver -coloured Toyota Corolla car, as well as various brands of sophisticated mobile phones and laptops.

The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
