 Kaduna Targets ₦120bn IGR In 2026 — KADIRS Chairman   Kaduna State has set an Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) target of ₦120 billion for the 2026 fiscal year, with the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) expected to play a central role in achieving the target. The Executive Chairman of KADIRS, Jerry Adams, FCTI, FNIM, FCE, CNA, disclosed this during the Service’s Annual Performance Review, Work Plan, and Strategic Retreat.  He explained that although the state government approved ₦74 billion as KADIRS’ official revenue target, the Service raised its internal benchmark to ₦80.09 billion to motivate staff to exceed expectations. He further stated that the proposed 2026 budget by the Kaduna State Planning and Budget Commission stands at ₦117.28 billion, with KADIRS expected to generate ₦74.28 billion, while Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) are projected to generate ₦43.24 billion. Gbajabiamila salutes Shettima at 56

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila, has felicitated the Vice Presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Senator Kashim Shettima, on his 56th birthday.

Gbajabiamila, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Lanre Lasisi, described Senator Shettima as a man of honour and a patriot whose invaluable contributions to the country's democracy are numerous.

The Speaker recalled Shettima's days as the governor of Borno State when he transformed the state despite the security challenges.

Gbajabiamila noted with delight how Shettima, as a foremost banker, brings his experience to bear at any given time when it is needed.

As the Senator representing Borno Central, Gbajabiamila said Shettima has provided purposeful representation to his people and made meaningful contributions on the floor of the Senate on issues pertaining to the growth and development of Nigeria.

The speaker further described Shettima as a determined, upright, courageous and dogged politician, whose words are his bond.

Gbajabiamila said at 56, Shettima has achieved a lot and still has more contributions to make to Nigeria and Nigerians.

The speaker wished Shettima many more years of sound health and increased wisdom from the Almighty Allah.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
