The incident occurred at an Assemblies of God Church (Garkawa Section) in Shikal Community of Langtang south Local Government Area of Plateau State.

This is not the first time such incident has occurred in the community; one Grace of God Mission (church) was also allegedly attacked in this manner.

A source told kwara updates that, a festival was organised in Shikal Community to celebrate their masquerades, the event was suppose to be rounded up yesterday but it later extend till this morning.

Notification Letter was sent to the pastor of Assemblies of God Church Shikal, (content of letter not disclosed), but the clergyman didn't agree to it stating that 'Light has nothing to do with darkness' - and also because he was using sound system during his service today" - the source added.

The church's amplifier, Bass guitar, and many plastic chairs were damaged after the interruption, some of the Church's properties were also affected.

It was alleged that, such cases had been reported to the Langtang Police Division HQ on several occasions but no positive outcome was recorded.
