 𝐁𝐮𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐢, 𝐀𝐛𝐛𝐚𝐬, 𝐀𝐤𝐮𝐦𝐞, 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐀𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐖𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐀𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝟕𝟔𝟐 𝐅𝐂𝐓 𝐋𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐬 Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has revoked the lands allocated to several prominent Nigerians, including former President Muhammadu Buhari, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas, and Secretary to the Government of the Federation George Akume, due to non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy fees. Also, 759 other prominent figures and organisations in Maitama II, Abuja. were also affected by the revocation which was for non-payment of Certificate of Occupancy. 11 PASSENGERS TRAVELLING FROM IMO TO KANO BURNT TO DEATH ALONG ENUGU/PORT HARCOURT EXPRESSWAY.(PHOTO).

11 Passengers Travelling From Imo To Kano Burnt To D£ath Along Enugu/Port Harcourt Expressway 

Eleven passengers traveling from Owerri, Imo state to Kano state were burnt to d£ath after a Toyota Hiace bus they were traveling in, got involved in an accident on Sunday, October 30.

The spokesperson of the Enugu state police command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, who confirmed the accident said the Hiace Bus with registration number KTG 41 XD, conveying twelve (12) passengers, rammed into a broken-down and stationary Howo Sino truck, at Akegbe-Ugwu, along Enugu/Port-Harcourt Expressway and burst into flames.

Ndukwe said the impact led to Eleven (11) of the travelers suffering severe burns before emergency help could get to them. He said they were taken to the hospital and confirmed dead by doctors on duty.

  SSANU, NASU threaten strike over withheld salaries The Joint Action Committee of the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions have threatened to disrupt industrial peace in universities should the government fail to release the withheld salaries of members. The salaries were seized by the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari during their strike in 2022. The unions, in a joint letter signed on Friday by the President of SSANU, Muhammed Ibrahim and General Secretary of NASU, Peters Adeyemi, questioned the rationale with which the government released four months withheld salaries to members of the Academic Staff Union of Universities but failed to release the withheld salaries of non-academic staff.
