 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. 11 Passengers Travelling From Imo To Kano Burnt To D£ath Along Enugu/Port Harcourt Expressway 

Eleven passengers traveling from Owerri, Imo state to Kano state were burnt to d£ath after a Toyota Hiace bus they were traveling in, got involved in an accident on Sunday, October 30.

The spokesperson of the Enugu state police command, DSP Daniel Ndukwe, who confirmed the accident said the Hiace Bus with registration number KTG 41 XD, conveying twelve (12) passengers, rammed into a broken-down and stationary Howo Sino truck, at Akegbe-Ugwu, along Enugu/Port-Harcourt Expressway and burst into flames.

Ndukwe said the impact led to Eleven (11) of the travelers suffering severe burns before emergency help could get to them. He said they were taken to the hospital and confirmed dead by doctors on duty.
