 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. BE GOOD AMBASSADORS OF WOMEN, OBINABO TELLS GROUP DURING INTERFACE.

Anambra State Women and Social Welfare Commissioner Hon Ify Obinabo has urged group to be good ambassadors of women.

This she said in her office in Awka during an interface with Ufuma Development Union Awka branch (Women Wing) led by Prof. Ifeyinwa Ilo.

Welcoming the group, Hon Obinabo charged them to at all times, be examples of good women to others in their union by supporting the policies of the governor of Anambra State, Prof Chukwuma Soludo.

Hon Obinabo called on them to be agents of change by being conscious of their environment. She also urged them not to hesitate in calling on the ministry if need be.

Earlier in her speech, the Leader of the group, Prof. Ifeyinwa Ilo who appreciated the honorable commissioner for receiving them noted that their aim of visiting is not only to congratulate her on her position but to also let her know that the group is ready to work with her in making the Soludo led administration a dream come true for ndị Anambra.

Highlight of the visit is the presentation of gift item by the group to the honorable commissioner for women and social welfare.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
