 IMO STATE POLICE COMMAND PRESS RELEASE OF 6TH DECEMBER, 2025 IMO POLICE COMMAND INTENSIFY CRACKDOWN ON KIDNAPPING, VIOLENT CRIMES ALONG OWERRI–ABA EXPRESSWAY As part of ongoing efforts to curb kidnapping and other violent crimes along the Owerri–Aba Expressway, a high-powered team led by the Commissioner of Police, Imo State Command, CP Aboki Danjuma on Saturday, 6th December, 2025, inspected suspected kidnappers hideouts in Umuhu Autonomous Community in Ngor-Okpala following credible intelligence on Stanley Morocco Oparaugo, currently at large. The delegation included the Honourable Commissioner for Health, Dr. Chioma Egu; Chief Pathologist, Imo State Specialist Hospital, Dr. Ibeaja Okechukwu; members of the Ngor Okpala Vigilante Group led by Mr. Henry Ikpe; and the Chairman of Ngor Okpala LGA, Hon. CONFIDENCE BUILDING: IGP EMBARKS ON VEHICULAR PATROL  OF 6 NORTHERN STATES, COMMISSIONS STATE-OF-THE-ART PROJECTS 


Assures Personnel of Sustainable Drives to Protect Nigerians, Improved Internal Security 

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, fdc, today 9th October, 2022, concluded a 6-day duty tour of 6 Northern states to commission state-of-the-art projects completed by his administration including modern police stations with barracks attached to them, renovation of vital police infrastructure such as police training schools, buildings for tailoring department and the band section, etc.  

In the course of commissioning the projects and engaging community stakeholders as part of a confidence building exercise, the IGP and his team travelled by road and conducted patrols from Abuja to Kaduna; Kaduna to Kano; Kano to kazaure [Jigawa State]; Kazaure [Jigawa State] to Dandagoro [Katsina State]; Kano to Damaturu [Yobe State] [tranversing parts of Jigawa & Bauchi State]; Damaturu[ Yobe] to Benisheik [Borno state] ; Benisheik to Maiduguri in Borno State. 

The Inspector-General of Police while assuring police officers of his administration's commitment to entrenching sustainable drives for the protection of lives and property within the country, noted that a similar road trip to commission projects in the Southern part of the country will commence in earnest. 

In the same vein, the IGP equally reiterated the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to harness all means of improving internal security architecture of Nigeria through better condition of service, rejigged Standard Operating Procedure and robust human/community relations.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
