Terrifying new dashcam footage shows moment doomed NBC helicopter falls out of the sky The terrifying moment an NBC helicopter fell out of the sky and plunged into the ground near where an SUV had slammed into a Metro bus was caught on dashcam. The video, obtained by KTLA, shows the helicopter descending, caught from afar on the vehicle camera of Yera Valencia. She said: “I downloaded the video of my dashcam. It’s a little dot on the video. It’s a crisp video and it just goes down.” She added: “God, it’s so close, it could have happened to anyone. My parents walk down the street.” The two back-to-back Tuesday night crashes resulted in five deaths — two involving the bus and SUV, and three as a result of the chopper going down, killing reporter Eliana Moreno, pilot George Marciniw and pedestrian Edy Gutierrez Mejia.

More Bodies Recovered From Ogbaru Boat Mishap.

                     
More bodies have been recovered following Friday's boat mishap at Umunnakwo in Ogbaru Council Area.
                                
The families of the victims and some survivors who waited for the arrival of recovered corpses could not contain their tears as they narrated their experiences to the ABS. 
                        
Mr Bernard Achonu from Isiala Mbano but resides in Mputu town who lost his wife and three children aged between two and six,
said his family left in order to move to a safe place as the water has submerged almost all the communities but regretted that the engine boat capsized due to dangerous waves.

Others who lost family members including Messrs Kenneth Ezi, Mathew and Sabastine Umeorji, and Dominic Dala- Amuzie expressed grief and shock over the incident saying that mostly children and women died in the ill- fated boat.                          

The sailor of the ill- fated boat, Mr. Desmond Amaugo from Ogwuaniocha said the total number of persons on board were forty-eight and not eight-five as widely reported and narrated how the market women besieged his house and persuaded him to sail them to Ogbakuba but they couldn't make it due to the water waves which knocked the boat against the pillars of Umunnakwo/Ossomala bridge against all efforts he made to stabilize the boat.
                            
Ten bodies have been recovered. 

All the houses, roads, and markets in the community are submerged while the villagers parked their farm produce and belongings along the flooded tarred road.

GOVERNOR SOLUDO SYMPATHIZES WITH FAMILIES OF BOAT MISHAP VICTIMS IN OGBARU

Anambra State Governor, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR has sympathized with the families of persons involved in the boat mishap that occured in Umunnankwo Community in Ogbaru Council Area.

It was gathered that tens of people are still unaccounted for in the unfortunate incident, though search is still ongoing.

However, reports has it that the boat occupants were on their way to Nkwo Ogbakuba when it capsized by Umunankwo Ossomala Bridge and over 10 persons drowned.

"This development is still a shock to the government and good people of Anambra State. I sympathize with the families of people involved", Governor Soludo said.

While regretting the unfortunate incident, Governor Soludo further stated that several interventions have been sent by government to various IDP camps within the State. 

He assured that government will continue to do its best to reduce the negative effects of the flood disaster, just as he called for a permanent solution to it yearly occurrence
