  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. Police arrest man for defrauding innocent people of N9M in Nassarawa 

On 26/10/2022, Police operatives attached to State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia arrested one Abdulkadir Ibrahim 'M' 27yrs from Azara, Awe LGA of Nasarawa State for impersonating Barr. Mamman Toro Alakayi, the commissioner representing Nasarawa state at Federal Character Commission and defrauded unsuspecting members of the public to the tune of Nine Million Naira (#9,000,000).

The suspect has been posing on one of the social media platforms as Barr. Mamman Toro Alakayi fraudulently obtained money from members of the public under the guise of giving them employment at Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corp, Nigeria Immigration Service, Nigeria Correctional service, Independent National Electoral Commission and Federal Inland Revenue Service.

Consequently, a search warrant was executed at his residence where two appointment letters from the National Taskforce (NATFORCE) and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) were recovered; also, six (6) documentation forms from the Nigerian Immigration Service all bearing different names were subsequently recovered from the suspect as exhibit and has confessed to the commission of the crime.

The investigation is ongoing at the State Criminal Investigation Department, Lafia upon conclusion, he will be charged to a court of competent jurisdiction for prosecution.
