 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. Policeman Stabs Colleague To D£ath In Kebbi.

The Kebbi State Police Command says one of its operatives, ASP Shu’aibu Sani Malumfashi, pictured below, has been st*bbed to d£ath by his colleague identified as ASP Abdullahi Garba. 

Spokesperson of the command, SP Nafiu Abubakar, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, October 27, 2022, said the state commissioner of police, CP Kontagora has ordered thorough investigation to unravel circumstances surrounding the incident.

According to the PPRO, Garba stabbed Malumfashi with a scissors during an altercation between the duo inside fishing village area in Argungu town on October 19, 2022. 

ASP Malumfashi was rushed to a hospital in Birnin Kebbi, where a medical Doctor confirmed him d£ad.

Late Malumfashi was the Divisional Crime Officer 11 of the Argungu Divisional Police Station in Kebbi before his d£ath. 

Mr Abubakar said the erring officer was taken into police custody while the case has been referred to Homicide section for a discreet investigation.
