 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. RECRUITMENT EXERCISE: LASG DEBUNKS REPORT BY ONLINE MEDIA



The Lagos State Civil Service Commission (CSC) has debunked an online story by TopNigerianjobs.com, stressing that the report on the recruitment exercise published by the website did not emanate from the State Government.

A statement signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Commission, Mrs. Boladele Dapo-Thomas said information concerning recruitment exercise by the Lagos State Government is disseminated to the general public through all verified official online and offline platforms.

She informed that the report by TopNigerianjobs.com is false and deceitful, as such the Commission is not liable for the contents nor the misrepresentations of facts by the publication.

The Chairman, therefore, warned the general public to disregard the contents of the website, noting that the Civil Service Commission contacts successful applicants directly (usually by email) on issues pertaining to recruitment exercises and not through third parties.
