  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. CJN APPROVES 300 JUDGES FOR 2O23 ELECTION CASES.,(PHOTO).

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Olukayode Ariwoola, will on Monday, November 7, set in motion the legal fireworks for the 2023 election with the inauguration of over 300 members of the election petition tribunal.

The spokesperson for the Supreme Court, Dr. Festus Akande, said this in the invitation sent to journalists in Abuja on Saturday.

According to him, the event has been scheduled for Andrews Obaseki Auditorium at the National Judicial Institute in Abuja.

He also explained to our correspondent why the inauguration would be coming so early.

Akande said, “If there’s delay in swearing them in, you will ask why the delay, but it’s done early now, you are asking questions again. What will one do to please the world? I believe you have not forgotten that they will undergo induction for sometime before they commence sitting.

“Elections are taking place in February 2023; we are in November already. Do you want them to be inaugurated in February next year, being the same month of election? We have always been swearing them in few months to elections and this one is not an exception.”
