 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. CULT CLASH: 5 DEAD IN RIVERS STATE AFTER A CULT CLASH AT ABUJA HOUSING ESTATE. (PHOTO).

The Rivers state police command has confirmed that Rival cult clash resulted in the death of five persons at Abuja Housing Estate, Ahoada East Local Government Area of Rivers State over the weekend.


Spokesperson of the rivers state police command Grace Koko revealed in a statement   that the shootout that ensued was between the invaders suspected to be members of the Greenland cult group and their rival, the Iceland cult group which resulted in the death of five persons and a woman who sustained gunshot injuries.


Grace KokoO however, assured that the Police’s tactical units had deployed to the area to restore peace and order just as investigations were on.


She gave the names of those killed as Chukwujeku Kingsley, 36 years, Chubuike ThankGod, 23 years and three others yet to be identified.
