 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. HEADS OF SECURITY AGENCIES AND PARA MILITARY ORGANIZATIONS MEETS IN HQ 2 DIVISION NA IBADAN


The General Officer Commanding 2 Division Maj Gen Aminu Chinade today 16 November 2022 hosted all Heads of Security  and Para Military Agencies in Oyo State to brainstorm on the rising wave of criminality in Ibadan and environs as well as kidnappings on the Lagos- Ibadan Express Road.

In his opening remarks, Gen Chinade called for more concerted efforts from all and sundry to tackle the recent rise in criminality and advocated for more synergy to stop this dastardly acts on the Lagos- Ibadan Express Road by this undesirable elements. Also, the GOC solicited for better ideas in  information sharing and monitoring among the security agencies. This the GOC believes will put the security agencies ahead in planning robust ways of countering the nefarious activities of this hoodlums.

The meeting is the first in the series as it generated frank discussions from all and an agreement that such meetings should  regularly hold to address issues that boarder on security speedily. 

In attendance includes- the Commander 671 Nigerian Air Force  Detachment, the Commissioner of Police Oyo State, Director State Services and other Heads of Security Agencies in Oyo State.
