 TROOPS APPREHEND SUSPECTED TERRORIST COLLABORATORS, FAMILY OF ISWAP FINANCE CHIEF SURRENDERS, RECOVER LOGISTICS ITEMS Troops of Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK) have continued to sustain pressure on  terrorists through series of intelligence-led operations that resulted in the arrest of suspected terrorist collaborators, the surrender of the family members of a senior ISWAP commander, and the recovery of terrorist logistics items. In one of the operations conducted on 27 July 2026, troops of 5 Brigade arrested six ISWAP collaborators in Damasak, Borno State. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspects were allegedly generating funds for the terrorist group through the procurement and sale of cattle at designated markets in Gubio, Damasak and Ajuwango. Items recovered from the suspects included one Volkswagen Golf vehicle, vehicle keys, four mobile phones of different brands, cow meat and the sum of ₦317,950.00. Kaduna Deploys 2000 Teachers In 155 Schools To Enhance Girl-Child Education

The Kaduna State government has deployed 2000 teachers in 155 schools across the 23 local government areas (LGAs) of the state as part of efforts to address the constraints of girl-child education in the state.

The state’s Deputy Governor, Dr. Hadiza Sabuwa Balarabe while speaking at a training organised by the Adolescent Girls Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Project under the Ministry of Education in collaboration with the Teachers Service Board at Kaduna State University (KASU) said the initiative is aimed at ensuring that the girl-child is given every opportunity to achieve her full potential.
