  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. RSG secures injuction restraining PH Spar from holding Black Friday sales from 18-27th Nov



Rivers State government has secured an interim order of injunction restraining Spar Market, the occupier of Port Harcourt Mall from going ahead to carry out the proposed Black Friday Sales scheduled from 18th of November to 27th of November, 2022.

According to suit by Attorney General of Rivers State against Spar Market, the occupier of Port Harcourt Mall, the Spar, it’s agent, servant and or Privies are restrained from conducting or holding the Spar Black Friday Sales scheduled to told from 18th to 27th of November, 2022 pending the determination of the suit.

Trial Chief Magistrate Grade one, A.O AMADI-NNA also granted an interim order restraining the Spar Market, it’s agent servant and or Privies from further obstructing Rivers State commissioner for Environment and his staffs from assessing the Spar facilities before, during and after the scheduled Spar Black Friday event.

According to the order, the Commissioner for Environment and his staffs are to be allowed access to the Spar facilities for the purpose of evaluating the environmental health and safety equipment, aimed at preventing and environmental harm, likely to be cause by the Spar Market on the citizenry in Rivers State.

The matter has been adjourned till, 12th of December, 2022 for hearing.
