 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. Anambra State Government Presents Certificate of Recognition To The Traditional Ruler Of Umuomaku
 

....charges him to use the Throne and unify the Community

Today, The Governor of Anambra State Prof Chukwuma Soludo presented a Certificate of Recognition to HRH Igwe Livinus Obinna Ezenwa, Onunekwulu Ora ll of Umuomaku, as the new traditional ruler of Umuomaku Community in Orumba South L.G.A of the State. The Governor in his remarks during the event which took place at Exco Chamber Government House Awka, charged the monarch to use his position to unify the community so as to build and sustain peace in the community and beyond.

He also commended the Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and community affairs, Hon. Tonycollins Nwabunwanne for his efforts towards ensuring that peace is being restored in the community and other communities in the State.

It could be recalled that, after several reconciliatory meeting to end the conflict which rocked the community in the past and kept them without a traditional for years, but with the effort of Mr Commissioner, the people of Umuomaku Community, on 24th Day of September 2022, following a Free and Fair Election Supervised by the Anambra State Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs, elected Chief Livinus Obinna Ezenwa as their Traditional.

The Event was graced by some personalities in the state.
