  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. ANAMBRA STATE GOVERNMENT RESTORES PEACE IN IGBAKWU COMMUNITY. 


The Commissioner for Local Government, Chieftaincy and Community Affairs - Hon Tonycollins Nwabunwanne  invited the village leaders and stakeholders of Igbakwu Community in Ayamelum L.G.A for reconciliatory meetings.

Resolutions reached include the following:

i. Igbakwu Town Union Constitution is still very much intact and still a working document with the government. 
That a section of the constitution is a subject of litigation does not invalidate the said constitution. Unless the court says otherwise since it is already in court.

ii.Traditional Rulers are not part of the Town Union and should desist from interfering in town union activities. 

iii. It is also overwhelmingly and unanimously agreed that it is the turn of Eriator Village to produce the next President General of Igbakwu Town Union and they should be allowed to do so without further interference from any quarters. 

iv. The Igbakwu Town Union Election has been fixed and published to hold on 30th of December 2022 in Igbakwu Town.
