 Terrorists, banditry activities in Northwest have reduced – Shehu Sani Shehu Sani, a former Kaduna Central Senator, has disclosed a decrease in the activities of terrorists and bandits in the Northwest. Sani said the recent killings of some top terrorists’ leaders could have been responsible for the decrease. Posting on X, the former lawmaker wrote: “In the last few weeks, there is a noticeable decrease in terrorist and banditry attacks and kidnappings in the North Western parts of this country. “The elimination of some of the top terrorist leaders must have been responsible.This is commendable and should be sustained.” In the past weeks, notable bandit leaders have been killed in the North. Those eliminated include- Haliru Kachalla Sububu or Buzu, Kachalla Tukur Sharme (killed by rival gang), Sani Black, another prominent bandit leader, killed along with his brother and two children, Kachalla Makore, Kachalla Mai Shayi Kachalla Tsoho Lulu and Mai’Yar Gitta. DINGYADI CONDOLE CHINESE GOVERNMENT OVER THE DEATH OF FORMER PRESIDENT

The Minister of Police Affairs, Dr. Muhammad Dingyadi has said the loss of the former Chinese President Mr. Jiang Zemin is a great loss to the people and government of China and Nigeria. 

Dr. Dingyadi in a visit to the Chinese Embassy in Abuja to condole with the people, Said the former president Mr. Jiang Zemin who died on 30th November 2022 at the age of 96 years will be greatly missed.

In a statement signed by the head Press and Public Relations Unit, Bolaji Kazeem and made available to Nigeria Police Radio 99.1 Abuja, the minister in commending China people said they are doing a lot of developmental projects in Nigeria which has impacted positively on the economic growth of the country.
 
On his own part, the Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Cui Jian Chun appreciated the Minister for the visit, saying that China and Nigeria's economic relationship will continue to grow stronger, hence facilitating substantial projects for both cocountries.
