Immortalise Late Lawmaker, Okafor By Living Out His Legacies- Soludo Charges Family

Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Soludo has called on the family of the late lawmaker representing Awka Constituency One and Majority leader  the State House of Assembly, Dr. Nnamdi Okafor to immortalise the late lawmaker and live out his legacies.

Governor Soludo made the call at St Patrick's Cathedral, Awka, where the funeral mass took place.

In an interview, the Speaker, Anambra State House Of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Uche Okafor described his colleague's death as saddening, saying the lawmaker was a tested brother and colleague.

Earlier in a homily, the Catholic Bishop of Awka, Most Rev. Paulinus Ezeokafor said that there is time for everything on earth- time to be born and time to die, calling on the congregation to be careful about the kind of life they live.

The Deputy Governor, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, Deputy Speaker, Dr. Paschal Agbodike, Secretary to the State Government, Professor Solo Chukwulobelu, Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, Head of Service, Barrister Theodora Igwegbe, Traditional Prime Minister of Awka, Chief Ben Okoye, members of the State House of Assembly, family, friends and well wishers, attended the mass celebration which featured choir ministrations.
