  DEVELOPING STORY: Man Found Unconscious After Allegedly Throwing Children From Storey Building in Aba A man was reportedly found unconscious but still breathing after allegedly falling from a storey building at New Phase of Umuobe by Barracks, Opobo Road, Obignwa, Abia State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, has caused panic among residents of the area. Eyewitnesses told Magic FM Aba that the man allegedly threw two of his children from the building before attempting to throw down his wife. However, the circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear. The two children were reportedly rushed to a hospital for medical attention. As of the time of filing this report, Magic FM Aba could not independently confirm their condition or whether they survived the fall. The man, who sustained an injury to the head, was still lying in front of his house and had yet to receive assistance as of the time of this report. OWNER OF RECOVERED SUV ABANDONED UNDER OTEDOLA BRIDGE HAS SHOWN UP TO RECOVER HIS CAR- POLICE. (PHOTOS).#PRESS RELEASE.

The owner of the recovered SUV, 4Matic GL 450 with the registration number KUJ 384 LY under Otedola Bridge yesterday showed up two hours ago.

He said he was attacked by traffic robbers after a stop to check his shaking rear tyre. 

He abandoned the vehicle there to escape.

All confirmations done and vehicle along with valuables have been handed over to him while CSP Yinka Egbeyemi  has directed RRS Decoy Team to arrest those involved in the attack.


EARLIER REPORT 

Officials of Rapid Response Squad (RRS) on patrol at about 10:00 p.m. yesterday recovered an SUV, 4matic GL 450 with the registration number KUJ 384 LY under Otedola bridge.

The car's engine was running and driver's side door opened with no occupant. In the car were travelling bags and laptop.

The Commander RRS, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi has directed the decoy team to commence preliminary investigation immediately.

Whoever has information about the owner of the vehicle should kindly contact RRS HQ, Alausa Secretariat, Ikeja.
