 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. 23-Year-Old NSUK Student Emerges New Miss Buh

A 23-year-old student of the Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK), Miss Becky Yanga Alex has won the 2022/2023 edition of Miss Buh Beauty Pageant. 

She was announced winner at the grand finale held on Saturday, December 31 in Nakere, the headquarters of the Buh-speaking ethnic group in Wamba Local Government Area of Nasarawa State. 

The 23-year-old student defeated Miss Yangah Peter Bala to succeed Miss Tessy Danazumi Gamna as Miss Buh. 

Similarly, Isaac Peter has emerged as the new Mr. Buh of the 2022/2023 edition unopposed. 

Speaking at the event, the youth leader of Buh Cultural Development Association (BCDA), Comrade Alfred Audu Gbaja said the pageantry was aimed fostering peace and unity. 

The event was attended by sons and daughters of the ethnic group from all walks of life.
