 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. ADAMAWA CP TASKED 431 NEWLY PASSED OUT CONSTABLES TO ENSURE COMMUNITY SAFETY AND SHUN CORRUPT PRACTICES


Adamawa State Commissioner of Police CP, SK Akande, has tasked about 431 newly passed out Constables to strive towards ensuring safety of communities as well as shun all corrupt practices.

Addressing cross section of the Constables at the Police Headquaters on the 23th January, 2023, the Police Boss urged them to be committed towards upholding professionalism.

CP Akande, urged the deployed Constables to various Divisional Headquaters across the State to be good ambassadors of their families, Adamawa State and Nigeria Police Force as a whole.

Their deployment is in-line with the Community Policing Policy of the Federal Government of Nigeria and Inspector General of Police (IGP) Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+),NPM ,NEAPS, CFR.

The CP while wishing the Newly passed out Constables a successful Carrier, he further urged them to be straight forward, God fearing and be nice in their policing approach to foster community safety.
