 Kebbi Govt Donates 10 Hilux Vehicles to Boost Security on Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway  The Kebbi State Government has handed over 10 brand-new Hilux vehicles to the Federal Ministry of Works to strengthen security for personnel working on the Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway project. The vehicles were formally received by the Minister of State for Works, Bello Muhammad Goronyo, who praised Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kauran Gwandu), for the donation. Goronyo described the gesture as a clear demonstration of the state government’s commitment to protecting workers and contractors on the strategic highway corridor. He explained that the vehicles will be deployed exclusively to security operatives providing cover for construction teams along the section of the super highway passing through Kebbi State. The Sokoto–Badagry Super Highway is a multi-state infrastructure project aimed at improving connectivity and economic activities across northern and southern Nigeria. More...

NSUK Wants Driver Who Killed 200-Level Student Prosecuted

The management of Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) has vowed to ensure that the driver who killed a student of the institution, Miss Adama Abdulrahman was prosecuted. 

This, in a statement issued by its Information and Protocol Officer (IPO), Abraham Habu Ekpo, in Keffi on Thursday, was to serve as deterrent to anybody that will commit such an offense.

Miss Adama was hit by a vehicle on her way to school to write an examination on Wednesday January 18. 

Ekpo who described the incident as painful and unfortunate also said they are taking every measure possible to ensure the safety of students so that such an unpleasing incident does not happen again. 

He assured that the management will follow up with the law enforcement agents to see that the culprit behind the incident face the full wrath of the law. 

The deceased until her death was a 200-level student of Mass Communication in the state owned University.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
