 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. According to reports, Pele's funeral procession will see his coffin stop briefly outside the home of his 100-year-old mother Celeste Arantes who's bedridden, before heading to his final resting place. 

Pele’s 100-year-old mother unaware of his death, says sister

Maria Lucia do Nascimento, sister of Pele, says the 100-year-old mother of the Brazilian football legend is unaware of her son’s death.

Pele's mother does not know that her son, the world-famous soccer legend, has died, his sister has revealed.

Celeste, who has just turned 100 and is looked after by daughter Maria Lucia do Nascimento, has not been told about her son's death.

Overnight it emerged Pele's only surviving sibling has yet to tell the matriarch her famous footballer son has lost his fight against colon cancer.
Pele will be buried at the Memorial Necrópole Ecumênica, a 32 storey cemetery in Santos, Brazil. This is the tallest cemetery in the world and the graves have a great view.

Pele will be buried on the 9th Floor.
